Alvin K. Rapp, 77, of Brunswick, passed away on November 17, 2011. He was born on March 2, 1934 in Fremont. He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years Judith Rapp (nee Beadell); loving children Dennis (Darlene) Rapp, Steven (June) Rapp, Tamara Dunn, and Victoria (David) Rafter; five adoring grandchildren; and seven treasured great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Marilyn Rapp (nee Weyer); and son Larry. Alvin retired from the Army after 39 years of service to our country. He was prod that he served in North Africa while in the Air Force. He was a man of adventure and loved to hunt, fish, golf, and travel. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 234, VFW Post 9520, and Eagles Club #3505. Family and friends may call on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 5-8pm at Waite and Son Funeral Home (3300 Center Road, Brunswick 44212). Military burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:30AM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
