Loretta C. Malcolm

Loretta C. Malcolm (nee Lauder), age 81, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2012 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 24, 1930 to Harold and Loretta Lauder in Butler, PA. Loretta is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years William; her five children, William (Pam) Malcolm, Karen (David Paul) Hunt, Susan (Keith) Maynard, Diane McMillan and Jeff (Jodi) Malcolm all of Brunswick. Her wonderful grandchildren Dave (Jenny), Chris (Stephanie), Jessica (Larry), Tiffany (Dan), Joe, Nathan, Jenna, Noah, and Jordan; and her beautiful great-grandchildren Damion, Jaiden and Riley; sisters Delores Stack and Karen Galoski; and many loving nieces and nephews. Loretta was a homemaker and raised five children and taught them all the importance of family. She was instrumental in planning family gatherings and was the reason her family is so close knit. Loretta loved taking care of her beautiful flower gardens every year in her backyard oasis. She had many special times with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved playing cards, board games, helping with homework and coloring. She spent quality time with each of them. Loretta’s favorite past-times were Bingo and many trips to casinos. She enjoyed her time with many friends and endless trips to places and restaurants. She is preceded in death by her son Michael, parents, brothers Bernard and Dale; and sisters Norma Jean and Donna Mae; and numerous in-laws and friends. Family and friends may call on Sunday, April 1, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8pm with a prayer service at 7:30pm at Waite and Son Funeral Home (3300 Center Road, Brunswick 44212) with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice (3743 Boettler Oaks Drive, Suite E, Green 44685).
