Clifton Floyd Lewis, age 69, of Brunswick, passed away on March 3, 2013. He was born on June 5, 1943 to the late Floyd and Kate (nee Holt) Lewis in Centerville, TN. Clifton proudly served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He retired after working for 42 years as an operations manager for Air BP at Cleveland Hopkins Airport. Clifton was a long-time member of the Brunswick VFW Post 9520, the American Legion Post 0091 and the Brunswick Eagles Aerie 3505. He was an old car enthusiast, enjoyed riding Harleys, and loved to go cat fishing and to grill out. Clifton is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Loreita (nee Watkins), loving daughter Angela (Kenneth) Keys; treasured grandchildren Amanda, Alyshia and Kenny Keys; he was a loving uncle to several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Bill Watkins and sister-in-law Susan Weaver. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Ray Bishop. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 4-8pm at Waite and Son Funeral Home (3300 Center Road, Brunswick 44212). Service will be held on Thursday at 11am at the funeral home. Military burial will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. Contributions may be left in Clifton’s memory to the Medina County SPCA (PO Box 135, Medina 44256).
