Adrienne M. Gerspacher

Adrienne Ellinger Gerspacher passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle with cancer on June 30, 2026. She was born in Parma, Ohio on June 2, 1949 to the late Fred and Gertrude (Petio) Ellinger.

She is survived by her husband and devoted caregiver of 50 years James Gerspacher, daughter Stephanie (Champion) Bell (and son-in-law Christopher Bell), daughter Briana (Gerspacher) Pilarczyk and granddaughters Clara Pilarczyk and Eve Bell. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Annette (Ellinger) Yano (husband Al Yano), Alma (Aftoora) Barth and Albert Aftoora (wife Patricia Aftoora), her loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many lifelong cherished friends. She was also predeceased by her cherished parents-in-law, Mel and Lauretta (Wolff) Gerspacher.

Friends and family describe her as "the strongest person they have ever met”, a ”super hero” and "the glue that held our family together." Despite her battle with cancer, she never spoke of her suffering and pain. She was a very generous, brave, compassionate, empathetic, sophisticated lady who was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was active in her community, a talented gourmet cook, plant lover and avid reader. She will be missed immensely.
