Albert C. Gavlik, 78, of Brunswick, passed away August 26, 2025.

He was born in Powhatan Point, OH on May 11, 1947 to Albert and Daisy (Cordery) Gavlik.

Albert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janice (Morrison); children, Sharon Richardson, Shane (Joy) Gavlik and Troy (Nicky) Gavlik; grandchildren, James Richardson and Daniel Richardson; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sondra Eddy.

Albert was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Energizer Battery in Westlake after 39 years of service. He will always be remembered as a great husband and father.

Committal services will be held at 9:45 a.m., Monday, September 8, 2025, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH. Please meet at cemetery at 9:30 a.m.
