Albert Paul (Skip) Fogel Jr, left this world surrounded by his loving family on September 17, 2024 at the age of 83.  "Skip" was born in Toledo Ohio and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School.  He attended Bowling Green State University where he met his wife who made him an outstanding offer he could not refuse.

Skip served in the U.S. Army from 1963 through 1969.  He worked many jobs in the insurance industry over a 60+ year timespan including The Al Fogel Insurance Agency in Toledo, Ohio, The Westfield Insurance Company and Lance and Company/Wichert Insurance Agency in Medina, Ohio.  Skip was a founding member of the Medina Township Police Department and was proud of the 25 years he worked security for the Cleveland Browns and Indians.

Skip is preceded in death by his parents Albert Fogel Sr and Virginia Fogel.  He is survived by his wife of 62 loving years, Barbara.  Sons Jeff (Lynne, Erica, Natalie), Dan (Karen, Tiffanie, Bradley) and Tim (Melissa).  Brother, John and Sisters, Ann and Rachel and their families

After retirement he enjoyed traveling, golfing and spending time with his friends and family.

The family would like to invite friends for a celebration of life on Friday October 11, 2024 1 to 4 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church gathering area, 2233 Abbeyville Road, Valley City, Ohio.
