Andrew Jenkins

Andrew Jenkins, Age 51, of North Canton, Ohio, passed away on July 14, 2026, after a courageous, hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born on May 24, 1975, in Medina, Ohio.

Andy graduated Medina High School in 1994. A master of his trade, he spent decades as an excavator, shaping local communities through his work in land development. Andy had a love of boating and the water that began at a young age at his grandfather’s house in Portage Lakes. He loved his family and friends dearly and always enjoyed time spending a day on the boat with them.

He is survived by his mother Jessica Jenkins (Tom Nyitray); father Tom Jenkins (Sandra); siblings Aaron Leonino (Lisa), Alizabeth “Allie” Young (Brian), Mallory Jenkins (Bob); aunts and uncles Liz (Dennis) Nash, James (Connie) Stewart; nieces and nephews Dominic, Maria, Gianna, “AJ”, Thomas; longtime girlfriend Kate Cianchetti and her sons Michael, Nick and Brandon; faithful companion Lucy; many other extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Thomas F. Stewart.
