Obituary

Anis E. Badr, age 88, passed away after a15 year battle with Parkinson's Disease surrounded by his loving family in Strongsville, Ohio on November 27, 2024. He was born in Lebanon to the late Eid and Ramza Badr on August 10, 1936. Anis had a vibrant personality, he was the life of the party at any party or family gathering. A loving, exuberant man who joyously embraced life, he was the kindest, most loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He dearly loved his family above all else and showed it daily. As if an angel here on earth, he loved all unconditionally.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Marie A. (Chaiban) Badr; his loving children, Eid Badr, Grace (Peter) Hajnasr, Marlene Badr, Chaiban (Dina) Badr; precious grandchildren, Christina, Chistopher, Sarah (Fadi), Andrew, Alexis, Tanios (Holly), Alex Richard, Robert, Ramzy, Jack, Teo, and Oscar; his siblings, Collette and John; along with a lifetime of friends and colleagues.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Renee, Collette, Marie, Joseph, Elie, John, George, and Bcharra.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, OH 44256. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am on Friday, December 6, 2024, at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 806 E Washington Street, Medina, OH 44256 followed by a interment at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina.
