Anne M.
Tindell
February 17, 1933 – October 31, 2022
Anne M. (nee Bates) Tindell, age 89, entered Heaven on October 31, 2022. She was born on February 17, 1933 in Nutwood, Ohio, to the late Roy Lamont and Maryanne (nee Stock) Bates. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, John M. Tindell, on March 2, 2022.
Anne was a servant of the Lord. She was a faithful member of Living Hope Church in Medina and was also active in their Food Pantry Ministry. Much of her free time was devoted to helping to protect the lives of pre-born children (thrift store, treasurer of Medina County Right to Life, peaceful and prayerful protesting in Washington, DC) and educating everyone that would have questions about the right to live and the value of life.
She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed bird watching (and feeding), writing letters to the editor and keeping up with world news. Anne was incredibly artistic and could often be found crocheting, quilting, caligraphy, painting, or even playing the piano.
Anne was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her faith and family were the most cherished parts of her life.
Anne is survived by her beloved children, Michael (Lillian), Marianne Hamilton (Mark), Martin (Nancie), Marita Brown (Josh), Maureen Crawford (Ray), David (Dawn), Ruthanne, and Christine Starcher (Bob); cherished grandchildren Steven, Justin, Nathan, Rachel, Andrew, Catherine, Christopher, Trisha, Ryan, Don, Jeffrey, Bryan and Danielle; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother Roy Bates.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-5:00pm on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina 44256 and one hour (10-11:00 am) prior to the funeral service at 11:00 am Monday, November 7, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest with her husband, John, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Anne's Memory to Medina County Right to Life, PO Box 1631, Medina, OH 44258
