Annette Marie Melda, age 69 of Brunswick, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on Monday, May 18, 2026. She was born on May 8, 1957, to the late Joseph F and Margaret (nee Hirgelt) in Cleveland, Ohio. Annette graduated from Normandy high school in 1975.

She was very artistic, creative, and loved spending time in her garden. She enjoyed socializing, playing games, and going above and beyond to be thoughtful of her family and friends. Annette will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Left to celebrate Annette‘s life is her loving daughter, Jessica (Brad) Scarl; her cherished grandchildren, Ben and Madison; her siblings, Philomena (Tom) Serafin, Joseph (Karen) Euse, John (Pam) Euse, Julie (Derral) Smith; her nieces Lauren (Tim) Lloyd, Kim (Mark) Ruda; her nephews Mark Euse, John Euse, Christopher Euse, Damon (Jenna) Melda, Brandon Melda, Matt Melda; and her great nieces and nephews as well as many extended family and friends.

Her family will receive friends on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 2 pm to 6 pm at Waite Funeral Home: 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, OH 44212 and on Monday, June 1, 2026, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church from 10 am to 11 am, with the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11 am.
