Annie Kmiecik-Burlingame passed away on January 27, 2026, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 68. She was born on October 13, 1957, in Cleveland, OH.

Annie was a free spirit. She loved art, design, The Beatles, David Bowie, true crime, cold weather, astrology, the color purple, and most of all, her family. She had an infectious laugh and brought life and love into any room she was in. Annie held a number of jobs over the years, including as an interior decorator and at Dodd Camera in Cleveland. She is loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Annie continues to live vicariously through her daughter Mikala and son-in-law Ali.
She is survived by her husband Michael and nine siblings: Frank (Dina), Mary Burns (Elmer-deceased), Bob (Joann), Carol, Michael (Chris), John (Valerie), Kathy Schuschu (Frank), Joan, and Jim (Chriss); along with 21 nieces and nephews and six great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Betty Kmiecik.

Family will receive friends on Monday, February 2 from 4:00-8:00pm at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, OH 44212. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 3 at 10:30am at Our Lady of Grace Church on 1088 Ridge Rd, Hinckley, OH 44233. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Valley City, OH.
