Anthony Thomas Hugney, 35 of Elyria, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on February 11, 2019 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born on December 29, 1983 in Middleburg Heights. Anthony attended Buckeye High School and will be fondly remembered as a jack-of-all-trades and an avid Cleveland Sports fan.  He had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed the great outdoors, especially kayaking, camping, and fishing.  Left to cherish his memory are his parents Thomas and Kerry (nee McKay) Hugney; fiancé Carolyn Cole; treasured children Kyton, Levi, A.J., Triston, and Aurora Hugney, Cohen Boyd, and Kaleb Cole; brothers Brad Hugney, and T.J. and Ali (nee Ulmer) Hugney; grandmothers Judith McKay and Patricia Hugney; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by his grandparents Franklin McKay, Edward Hugney, and Shirley Smith. Friends and family may call on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 3-7 PM with a service to follow at 7PM at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212.
