Antonia M. Sweet, age 85 of Medina passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on February 15, 2019.

Antonia was born May 29, 1933 to Anthony and Frances Lozier in Youngstown, OH.

Antonia is survived by her husband, Douglas C. Sweet, Jr.; sister, Margaret Lozier; children, Susan Muetzel (Donald), Douglas Sweet III (Shuvawn), Michael Sweet (Susan), Laurie Kotalac (Russ). Nephew David (Kathy) Moore and Amanda; nieces, Diane Busico (Tom) and Alisanne, grandchildren, Austin (Michelle), Amelia & Olivia Sweet, Jennifer Zalick (Matthew), Ann Madansky, Matthew Sweet, Karis, Katie and Beck Kotalac; and great grandchildren, Sophia and Susan Zalick, Adelaide and Lily Sweet.

Antonia (Toni) was preceded in death by her parents, brother Anthony Lozier Jr., sister Carol Moore, and Carol Ann Sweet.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at The Church of the Holy Spirit, 1446 S Main St., Akron, OH 44301 on Tuesday, February 19th at 7:00 pm. Calling hours will be held from 6-7:00 pm prior to the service.

As a cancer survivor, Toni was very involved with the American Cancer Society for many years - including the spring sale of daffodils.
