Babette Renea Vozar, 62, of Valley City, Ohio, passed away suddenly at home on April 29, 2026. She was born on January 4, 1964, in Cleveland, Ohio, and was a graduate of Highland High School, Class of 1982.

Babette spent much of her working life at Super Kmart and Camelot Place in Medina. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—cheering on her favorite Cleveland sports teams, butterflies, and surrounding herself with her favorite color, purple. She had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved pets Daisy, Myles, Peach, and Willow, whom she adored and cared for with lots of love and treats.

Above all, Babette cherished time spent with family and friends. She looked forward to gatherings, dinners, and special occasions, and was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. She had a gift for making friends wherever she went and will be remembered for her infectious smile and genuine kindness.

Babette was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Helen Vozar, and Fred and Bertha Becvar; and by her beloved parents, Edward and Nancy Vozar.  She is survived by her brothers, Kirk (Kim) Vozar and Eric (Carrie) Vozar; her nephews, Collin (Kasey) Vozar, Brandon Vozar, Ethan Vozar (and his girlfriend, Haley Wheeler), nephew Andrew Sims; niece Jordan (Dakota) Kuntz; her great-nephew, Rhys Vozar; and her beloved Aunt Beverly. Babette holds a special place in all of our hearts and will be deeply missed.

She was adored by the staff at Fresenius Dialysis Center, Ace Taxi, and Medina County Transit, as well as by her loyal cleaning lady, Michaela. Her family extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who treated Babette like family and brought joy to her days.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 North Court Street, Medina, Ohio.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., also at Waite Funeral Home in Medina. A procession to Resurrection Cemetery in Valley City will immediately follow the service.
