Barbara Black, age 82, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, in Fairlawn, Ohio. She was born on October 31, 1942, to the late Charles and Lillian Bresley in Berwyn, Illinois.

Barbara was gifted with her strong Faith. She was a longtime active member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church of Medina. She also enjoyed crafting with flowers and creating beautiful wreaths that she shared with family and friends. Family always came first, and Barbara enjoyed every minute with them.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Fisher; and son, Michael (Kerri) Black; her beloved grandchildren, Matthew (Hope) Bryan (Samantha), Kevin, Haley and Julia; her 3 great grandchildren; and brothers, Ed (Chris) and Greg; along with many extended family and dear friends.

Barbara is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, John Black and her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church on June 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Barbara will be laid to rest alongside her husband, John at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
