Barbara J. Budny, 89, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025.

She was born on April 8, 1936 to Nicholas and Elizabeth (Krutschnitt) Ballauer in Cleveland.

Left to celebrate Barbara's life are her loving children, Michael (Jennifer) Budny, Sharon (Milton) Capiotis and Cynthia (Lad) Sedely; her cherished grandchildren, Rachel (Ben) Riha, Joseph (Nicole) Budny, Michael (Teresa) Budny, Michael (Candice) Capiotis, Christina (Josh) DeHaven, Sarah (Patrick) Neel and Hannah (Brandon) Sedely; and her adorable great-grandchildren, Adriana, Antonia, Giuliana, Benny, Rosalina, Sienna, Leo, Arlo, Eleanor and Lillian.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 67 years, Joseph; her parents; and a sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Spencer.

Barbara enjoyed reading, exercising, gardening, birds, and spending time with her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, August 22, 2025, at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 6740 Broadview Rd., Parma, with entombment following at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
