Barbara Mae Buehner, age 89, of Stony Point, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born on July 29,1935, in Medina County, Ohio, to the late Clarence and Betty (Zenk) Huff.

Barbara was a wonderful homemaker, she especially enjoyed sewing and baking wonderful treats. She loved traveling and spending time with her beloved family. A lifelong Catholic, she used her faith to instill her patience, kindness, and life lessons to her children. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend she will be dearly missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Joseph Fred Buehner; her parents, and siblings, Anna Mae Hatch, Susan Huff, Clarence "Bud" Huff, Jack Huff, Ronald Huff; and her son-in-law, Bill Simon.

Those left to cherish Barbara's memories include her two daughters, Susan Simon and Babette Buehner both of Stony Point, North Carolina; her sons, Joseph Buehner of Lower Salem, Ohio, Michael Buehner (Jackie) of Wadsworth, Ohio; her 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her siblings, Rita Tanner (Larry) of Elyria, Ohio, Richard Huff of Hinckle, Ohio, Robert Huff (Jackie) of Strongsville, Ohio; along with numerous extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, Ohio 44256 and visitation on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Funeral Home from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E. Washington Street, Medina, Ohio 44256. Barbara will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, Ohio next to her beloved husband, Joseph.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that any donations in Barbara's memory be made to either St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church or your favorite charity in her honor.
