Barbara Ann Clark, age 94, of Medina, formerly from Brielle, New Jersey, passed away on January 30, 2026.

She was born on December 25, 1931, in South Amboy, New Jersey to the late Charles Edward and Olive Ruth Hunt. She graduated from Matawan High School in New Jersey and then went on to graduate from Ohio Wesleyan University with a degree in Education. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.

Barbara taught at Red Bank, New Jersey for one year but will be most remembered as a teacher at Medina City Schools.  After graduating from Ohio Wesleyan and marrying Bruce, Barbara started her teaching career at Garfield Elementary where she taught 3rd grade.  She then moved to Ella Canavan and taught 1st grade for many years.  It was her great joy to teach children to read and write and watch them become successful.

Barbara served as a representative on the Medina County Advisory Council on Aging from 2012 to 2016 as well as working at the Medina County Election Board for three presidential elections.

She also enjoyed spending time with her friends playing bridge and joining her late husband, Bruce, for dance club. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, dining out, and helping interview candidates for the Miss Ohio programs in the Medina and Cleveland area. Her favorite season was Christmas, but Barbara will be remembered as living life in Full Color!!

Barbara is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alan Bruce Clark, of Medina.

Barbara is survived by her dear children and grandchildren, Charles and his son Tristen, and Carolyn with her children, Melanie and Robert Moltu.

Other close family and friends include Ingrid Adams (niece) and family, David and Joyce Draxler (nephew) and family, the Waite family, the Hallock family, Gregory Hood and family, Bonnie Harris (caregiver).

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 4-7 pm at Waite Funeral Home in Medina. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
