Barbara Jean (nee: Brown) Conrad, age 66, of Medina, Ohio passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 30, 1958, in Struthers, Ohio to the late Robert and Marjorie (James) Brown. Barb achieved her Masters in Speech Pathology and worked as a Speech Language Pathologist and Supervisor of Speech & Language Services for over 40 years prior to retiring from the Lorain County Education Services Center in 2023.

Barb was a member of OSSPEAC (Ohio Speech Pathology and Educational Audiology Coalition), ASHA (American Speech and Hearing Association), Barb has received both State of Ohio and National Awards from those organizations. Barb has a Scholarship Fund in her name created by the OSSPEAC organization.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Bryan Scott Conrad; her beloved children, Brianna Conrad (Los Angeles, CA) and Brandon (Victoria) Conrad (Peninsula, OH); her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Beckett, and August Conrad (Peninsula, OH); her siblings, Jim (Sharon) Brown (Phoenix, AZ), and Kathy Wood (Berlin Center, OH); and a lifetime of dear friends and colleagues.

Barb is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marjorie (James) Brown (Struthers, OH).

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 25, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, OH 44256. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Medina Presbyterian Church, 5020 Burgundy Bay, Medina, OH 44256.
