Barry E. Turner, 81, passed away on October 28, 2025. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 12, 1944, Barry was the son of the late Joseph and Sarah (Siegmond) Turner. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose kindness, humor, and generosity touched everyone he met.

Barry spent 45 years working for LTV, where his dedication and work ethic earned him the respect of his colleagues. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially caring for his lawn—he was known for being meticulous about keeping it just right. A sports enthusiast, Barry loved golf, football, and baseball. Beyond his love for sports, he was known for his charming personality, his quick wit, and his deeply caring nature.

Barry's memory will be cherished by his wife of 53 years, Antoinette (Zingale) Turner; children, Anthony (Tina) Banks and Michael Banks; his grandchildren, Lisa (Jeffrey) Cox, Scott (Jessica) Ference, Angela Banks, Michael (Italia) Banks, Jesse Banks, Nicholas Banks, and Austin Banks; eight great-grandchildren; and his brother, Patrick Turner. In addition to his parents, Barry was preceded in death by his children, Raymond Banks and Gina Ference, and his grandson, Timothy Banks.

The family will welcome guests from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, with a service beginning at 6:00 pm.
