Betty Jean Davis, 75, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at her daughter's home, surrounded by family. Betty was born on July 13, 1950, in Parkersburg, WV, the daughter of the late Clarence Oliver and Mildred Grace (McCoy) Williams.

Betty was first and foremost a doting grandmother to her grandchildren. Her grandchildren and great grandson meant the world to her, as she was actively involved in their lives. She had a few housekeeping jobs throughout her life as well. Betty participated in Euchre tournaments, and enjoyed motorcycle rides and poker runs with her girlfriends in her younger years. She liked watching television shows such as old westerns, crime shows and Wheel of Fortune.

She is survived by her life partner, John A. Porter, with whom she shared 38 years; children, Jerry (Pamela) Davis, Jr., Sheila Grimes, and Darol Davis; grandchildren, Hunter and Tyler Davis, Ira Grimes III, and Spencer, Seville, Olivia and Noah Davis; great grandson, Ira IV; siblings, Sue Casey, Ruth Ann Owens, and Joyce Church; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in the death by her brothers, James Williams, and Roger Williams; and sisters, Doris Williams and Mary Ellen Williams.

According to Betty's wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
