Betty Louise Morse Einhart, age 97, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2024, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Betty was born on December 12, 1926, in Medina, Ohio to the late George and Relia (Palmer) Morse. She was an Honors Graduate of Medina High School, Class of 1944. She worked at The Savings Deposit Bank Company of Medina for eight years after graduation and then went on to work at two different banks in Cleveland, Ohio. Betty also worked as part of a three-girl office team for Securities, Inc. for 3 years prior to her retirement in 1960. At retirement the most challenging endeavor was learning how to transcribe reading material into English Braille through the Red Cross course study. It was 1964 when she earned her certificate as a transcriptionist from the Library of Congress. She often remarked it was her most rewarding experience in 15 years. Betty was an active member of Medina United Church of Christ Congregational. She was a wonderful, kind, and all-around good person. She was very generous with family and friends. Betty enjoyed an active life. Her hobbies included watercolor painting, drawing, sewing, knitting, writing, photography, bridge and golf. Her most favorite thing was golfing with her beloved husband Jay. Betty will be missed greatly by her family.

Betty is survived by her nephews, Robert (Susan) Gehring, Jeffery (Patricia) Gehring, and Thomas (Donna) Gehring, along with many extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jay Einhart, her parents, George and Relia (Palmer) Morse, her sister Helen (Carl) Gehring Riehm, and niece, Mary McElroy.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 27, 2024 , from 10-12 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, OH 44256, a funeral service will be held immediately following at 12 p.m. Burial following at Spring Grove Cemetery.
