Betty Lou Smith, age 94, passed away on January 14, 2025. She was born on June 10, 1930, to the late Edwin and Mae Strickler. Betty is survived by her loving daughter Susan Ann (Randy) Legg; cherished grandchildren Sherri (Tony) Cirino, Gary (Janelle) Kubisch, Michael (Kim) Jablonski; great-grandchildren Jennifer, Hannah, Aiden, Todd, and Jacob.

Betty is preceded in death by her beloved husband Wilbur, daughter Linda Marie (Mike) Jablonski, and her special cousin, Mary "Babe" Laufer, who was like a sister, born three weeks apart.

Betty greatly enjoyed crocheting and coloring in her free time. She will be dearly missed by all.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 4-6pm at Waite Funeral Home in Medina. A private burial will be held at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland, Ohio. Online condolences may be left at www.waitefuneralhome.com.
