Bobby Louis Neal, age 67, went home to be with the Lord on October 30, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born in Newport, Arkansas on October 11, 1950 to the late William and Helen V. (Reed) Neal. He was a 1969 graduate of W.F. Branch High School in Newport, Arkansas. Bobby held numerous jobs in his youth- he worked at Hale's Restaurant on the Square, the Pickle Plant, and MTD. He later worked for Permold for 21 years, 18 of those as a supervisor, and finally for the Medina County Highway Dept., where he had 22 years before retiring in 2013. His side business was mowing grass, and he was known as the "Mowman". He was an avid bowler and enjoyed motorcycling, weight lifting, vacationing, and bicycle riding. He was a drummer in school and into his early adult years. He liked to play Spades with his buddies, and was a die-hard Browns fan. Bobby's favorite place to be was in his mancave. Bobby is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Regina R. (Jamerson) Neal; loving children Barbara (Matthew) Roose, Tonya (Cedric) Simon, and Bobby L. Neal, II; dear grandchildren Katherine, Samantha, and Abigail Roose, Sade Simon, and Marie Neilson; maternal Aunt Juanita Ivory; Pastors and cousins Lonnie Andy "Dink" Neal and Rachel Neal; "brother" Eddie "Mack" (Valerie) Freeman; sisters-in-law Mary Jo Jamerson, C. Renee Wells, Mary Ann Neal, and Adele James; nephews Billy (Michelle Howard) Landers, Timothy Neal, Christopher Neal, and Jimmy (Jocelyn) Coburn, Jr.; and his niece Juanita Lynn Coburn. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Monday, November 6, 2017 at Wind Beneath My Wings Christian Fellowship, 3081 Barber Rd., Norton, OH 44203. Pastor Rachel Neal will officiate and burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Medina. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 pm Thursday at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina 44256 and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
