Brandon S. Mitchell, age 45, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on December 30, 2025. He was born on January 21, 1980, in Toledo, Ohio.

Brandon had a deep passion for sports and was a fiercely loyal fan, especially of the University of Michigan and the Detroit Tigers. He also enjoyed spending time at local breweries with family and friends, loved music and entertainment, and greatly enjoyed attending movies and concerts.

Brandon will be remembered by his wife of more than 22 years, Erin (née Moormann); his children, Dillon and Zoe; his mother, Mary (née Mueller); his father, Jerry (Toni); and his siblings, Marisa (Richie), Ryan (Beth), and Amy; as well as his cherished nieces and nephews, Mikayla, Lauren, Brock, Taryn, Regan, and Aidyn. He is also survived by extended family, including brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, a very loved step-family, and countless friends who meant so much to him. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bud Damschroder.

The family will welcome friends on Friday, January 9th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio, with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Brandon's memory to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance or the Colon Cancer Foundation.
