Brent Ronald Berry

Brent Ronald Berry, age 51, passed away on May 10, 2026. He was born on May 24, 1974, in Akron, Ohio to Jack and Cynthia Berry. In 1980 the Berry family moved to Jefferson, Ohio, where Brent grew up. He eventually settled in Copley, Ohio. Brent is survived by his son Andrew; parents Jack and Cynthia; brother Shawn (Kristine); sister Kelly; and close friend Robin.

Brent possessed a rare kindness and a genuine desire to help anyone in need. He found his greatest joy in his son, Andrew, who was the light of his life. A man of many passions, Brent was just as likely to be found cheering on the New Orleans Saints with a Pepsi in hand as he was embarking on an epic quest in D & D or immersed in a video game. His love for music, especially the Dave Matthews Band, and his creative spirit made him one who was always ready for a good adventure or a deep conversation. His positive outlook and sense of humor brought joy to all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of generosity and a reminder to find joy in the things we love.

A memorial service will be held on May 23, 2026, at Zion Lutheran Church 2233 Abbeyville Rd. Valley City, OH. 44280 at 11:00 am. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Rose Hill Cemetery in Fairlawn. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.waitefuneralhome.com.
