Bruce E. Painter, age 67, passed away on March 11, 2023 in Akron, Ohio. He was born on June 5, 1955 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Ralph G. and Dolores J. (Townsend) Painter. When he was 10 years old the family moved to Wadsworth, Ohio where Bruce resided for 57 years.  Bruce had a passion for music and was also an avid Steeler's fan, but he supported both the Indian's and Cav's with similar enthusiasm. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. Anyone who ever met him knew of his deep love for his family especially his beloved grandkids.

Bruce is survived by his kids, Pamela Painter, Daniel (Suzanne) Painter, and Billy (Aubrey) Painter; beloved grandkids, Abigail, Nathan, Elijah, and Caleb; siblings, Tom (Joan), Jay (Val), Darla (Jeff), and Keith; numerous nieces and nephews, along with a lifetime of collected friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph G. and Dolores J. (Townsend) Painter; grandkids, Hunter, Annelia, Gracie, and his niece, Tiffany.
