Carol Louise
Wienclaw
April 29, 1943 – April 23, 2026
Carol Louise Wienclaw (née Marks), age 82, passed away peacefully at home on April 23, 2026.
Carol was a graduate of West Tech High School. She later met the love of her life, Leonard Wienclaw, and together they built a devoted and loving family, sharing 62 wonderful years of marriage.
She served her community with dedication as a bank teller at Dollar Bank for more than 15 years, also, serving as president of her Homeowners Association, volunteering in the gift shop at Medina General Hospital, and giving her time to St. Martin of Tours Church.
Carol found joy in life's simple pleasures—reading, cooking, and traveling with Leonard, especially their memorable trips to Alaska. Above all, she cherished her family. She delighted in time spent with her grandchildren and took great pride in organizing family gatherings and celebrating special occasions together.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Suzanne Marks; her sister, Kathleen Deal; and her niece, Karen Deal.
Carol leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Leonard; her children, Jeffrey (Amy) Wienclaw, Thomas (Heather) Wienclaw, and Dawn (Mike) Stopa; her grandchildren, Andrew (Catelyn), Alyssa, Brian, and Brandon Wienclaw, Addison and Spencer Stopa, and Reagan Boden; her great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Amelia Wienclaw; and her brother-in-law, Richard Deal.
