Catherine J. Damm, 97 years old, of Blacklick, Ohio, passed away on December 26, 2025. She was born on June 1, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Leo and Leonarda (Riester) Stearn.  Catherine was a certified nurse practitioner for over 30 years. She was a master gardener who enjoyed embroidering and reading, especially John Grisham novels.

She is survived by her loving children Martha "Marti" J. Damm, David J. Damm (Barb) and Kailyn Damm (Scherrie); grand-children Andrew J. Damm, Olivia A. Damm, and Theresa A. Damm. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 Years, John A. "Jack" Damm; parents Leo and Leonarda; siblings Roger Stearn, Gerald Stearn (Dorothy), Eleanor Miller (James) and Ronald Stearn; daughter-in-law Annie Damm; grandson Daniel F. Damm.

Family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, OH 44256 and from 10:00-11:00 am Friday at the church before Mass.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, January 9, 2026 at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish-Lodi, 8240 Buffham Road, Lodi, OH 44254.  A committal service will follow Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park.
