Cathy Jo Barnes, age 74, of Medina, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her family on November 3, 2024. She was born to the late Bernard and Glenna (Swisher) Lucas on June 11, 1950, in Marion, Ohio.

Cathy cherished her family above all else, especially her precious granddaughters she was completely devoted to: Emily, Mia, Lainey, and Paige. She has a passion for helping people and loved the time she spent volunteering at Medina Hospital. In her free time, she enjoyed camping with her husband Denny, the whole family, and with their close group of camping friends.

Cathy is survived by her husband of almost 54 years Dennis Barnes; her children, Julie Price (Carey), Joni Rogers (Rob), and Ryan Barnes; her four granddaughters; her brother, Mark Lucas; her brother-in-law, Don Patterson; and her beloved Pug, Reggie. She was preceded by her twin sister, Connie Patterson, and her brother, Michael Lucas.
