Charles P. Van Tilburg, age 82, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2021. He was born on November 30, 1938, to the late Charles W. and Elizabeth (nee Burke) Van Tilburg in Euclid, Ohio.  Charles served his country as an Army Doctor with the 199th Infantry in the Vietnam War. He devoted over 30 years as a Pediatrician in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Northeast Ohio. After retirement, Charles became an Instructor for NEOUCOM in Rootstown, Ohio and he was a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Left to celebrate Charles' memory are his loving wife of 58 years, Kathleen (nee Foucault); his beloved children, Charles C. Van Tilburg, Donna L. Van Tilburg (Robert Conn), Diane M. Lloyd (Keith), Debra N. Van Tilburg (Tim Brown), and Cary "Bernie" Van Tilburg (Lanaya); cherished grandchildren, Kathleen, Michael, Kelly, Samantha, Katherine, Marisa, Alex, Jack, Jacob, and Riley; treasured great grandchildren, Kali and Carolyn; brother, William Van Tilburg; and sisters, Betty Holzheimer and Theresa Moyer. Charles is preceded in death by his son, Carl Van Tilburg and brother, Tom Van Tilburg.
