Charlotte E. Hardy, age 86, of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on February 2, 2025. She was born on June 20, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Charles and Annamarie Bela (Gibson) Hilger.  Charlotte was a member of the St. Wendelin Parish since1985, she also was an active member of the Altar Rosary Society as well as a Eucharistic Minister. She lived most of her life on the near West-side of Cleveland. She enjoyed being surrounded by her loving family and dear friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many by whom she will be greatly missed.

Charlotte is survived by her son, Brian P. (Kimberly) Mahon; her grandchildren, Adam P. (Shannon) Mahon, Paul B. (Maura Blake-) Mahon, Mitchell L. Mahon, great-granddaughter Sophie M. Mahon along with several stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren who endearingly referred to her as "Mom -Mom"; her sister, Kathy (Tom) Guenther; several nieces and nephews along with many dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Edward M. Mahon and second husband of 40 years, Lewis O. Hardy; her son Michael E. Mahon; and her sister, Margaret (Ronald) Johnson and brother Charles (Lilly) Hilger.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, Ohio 44256. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E. Washington Street, Medina, Ohio 44256.
