Christina M. Guk, 73, of Valley City, passed away May 19, 2025. She was born in Cleveland on December 9, 1951 to Edward and Mary (Cosgriff) Luks.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Larry; her children, Christian and Sebastian (Sheila) Guk; grandchildren, Izidora, Ante, Sebastian, and Allessia; and siblings, Michael and Patrick. Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister, Charmaine.

Christina was a devoted member of St. Ambrose Parish in Brunswick. She worked for the Post Office Medina Carrier Annex as a carrier for over 20 years. She had previously worked as a supervisor at Cleveland Hopkins Airport, as a secretary for Brunswick Hills Twp., and for the Civil Air Patrol at Lost Nation Airport. In addition, she ran The Potpourri Show on Brunswick Area Television. She was also a member of the Bar Association. Christina was an advocate of homeopathic medicine, and was a seamstress, avid book collector, and enjoyed journaling and making and painting pottery.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, May 30, 2025, at St. Ambrose Parish, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City.
