Christine Lynn Smith, 74, of Brunswick, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026. Christine was born on June 1, 1952, in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Peter and Frances (Kasdorf) Cushion, Jr.

Christine was a lifelong resident of Brunswick and a 1970 graduate of Brunswick High School. She worked in retail management and retired from Gabriel’s. Christine’s life revolved around her family. She was a super proud Grandma to her granddaughters. She and her husband, Dale, shared 49 years of marriage. She loved flowers, crafting and spending time at the beach. She also enjoyed listening to Jimmy Buffett and Kenny Chesney.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Smith; son, Matt (Jennifer) Smith; granddaughters, Matilda and Miranda Smith; brother, Russell Cushion; nephews and niece, Noel and Nick Griesmann and Stacey Pundik; sister-in-law, Jan Griesmann; and four-legged companion, Daisy.

A Celebration of Christine’s life will be held later.
