Connie E.
Henline
September 1, 1946 – September 26, 2025
Connie E. Henline, 79 , of Brunswick, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025
She was born in Cumberland, MD on September 1,1946 to Earl and Catherine Savage. Connie earned her Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University and went on to build her chosen career as a Dental Hygienist, serving patients in Frederick, Maryland, for more than 20 years. During her time in Maryland, she was an active member of Fredricktowne Baptist Church, where she shared her love of music by playing the piano and singing in the choir. After relocating to Ohio, she continued her devotion to faith and music as a member of Grace Baptist Church, where she also sang in the choir.
She was an avid reader who found joy in playing the piano and singing gospel songs. Full of life and energy, she had a heart as big as her smile and cherished every moment spent with her family. Always selfless, she put the needs of others before her own. She loved cooking and baking, and nothing brought her more happiness than time with her grandchildren. A true competitor at heart, she especially enjoyed watching football. But above all, being "Nana" and showering her grandkids with love was her greatest joy.
She was a loving wife, mother and Nana and will be missed by all that loved her.
Connie is survived by her children, Jill (Josh) Takis and Neil (Paige) Henline Jr., grandchildren, Jaxon, Grace, and Lawson; her sister, Donna (Dale) Wagner, sister-in-law Nancy (Terry) DeWitt, sister-in-law Judy Savage; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband Neil Henline Sr., parents, brother Lanny Savage, sister Kathy Lawson and sister-in-law Patricia (Bill) DeWitt.
Private services will be held.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org). Flowers can be sent to Waite Funeral Homes, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212.
