Dale A. Batke, 64, of Medina, OH passed away suddenly on February 8, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.  Dale was born September 2, 1961 in Cleveland, OH.  He is proceeded in death by his parents, Robert L. Batke and Joan C. Batke (Baker).  He graduated from Normandy High School in 1979 then served his inside wireman apprenticeship with Local 38 and became a Journeyman. Dale spent the majority of his career at Lake Erie Electric and was a proud member of Local 38.

Dale was an avid golfer; he was a life long fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoyed hosting games in "the barn".  He loved working on his property, taking down fallen trees, chopping firewood and plowing his treacherous driveway! Dale also loved the wagging tails and wet noses of his 4-legged friends.

Dale leaves behind Marcy, his cherished spouse of 35 years, his loving family, his brother Bobby Batke (Mary), sister Karen Saleker (Ron), brothers-in-law Michael Fiorella (Cindy) and Greg Fiorella (Patty) and sister-in-law Carla Balden (Bill).  He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews including his godchild, Jenna Saleker (aka god baby), a close-knit circle of friends and his faithful companion, Ruby.

Family will receive friends on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 4:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, Ohio 44256.
