Dale R. Glinka, 76, of Valley City, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025. Dale was born on January 4, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late Edmund and Josephine (Sturka) Glinka.

Dale was a United States Army veteran and proudly served our country during the Vietnam War. He was a skilled carpenter and worked as a Supervisor for Nyman Construction, overseeing many commercial building projects throughout the Cleveland area. He retired from Nyman Construction in 2004. He enjoyed camping, boating, and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved making every Holiday extra special for his family. He also never missed the Rib Burn Off Festival in Cleveland. Dale loved vacationing to Florida, especially spending time on New Smyrna Beach.

He will be forever missed by his loving family; daughter, Tisha (Donald James) Pack; son, Keith (Rachel) Glinka; grandchildren, Jacob and Elaynna; and brother, Edmund Glinka, Jr.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Glinka in 2005.

According to Dale's wishes, cremation will take place. There will be no calling hours or services.
