David Michael Pilkington, age 57, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Dave was a devoted husband, father, papa, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was known for his deep love for his family and his passion for Cleveland sports, live music, and concerts. He never missed an opportunity to spend quality time with those he loved.

Dave had a successful career and took great pride in his work. His dedication, leadership, and passion left a lasting impact on his colleagues. He recently retired to spend more time with his family, friends, and the simple pleasures of life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Pilkington; his children, Bo (Kelcey) Pilkington, Britani (Jamil) Kassabri, and Mason Pilkington; his granddaughter, Camila Kassabri; his father, Wilbert "Bill" Williams; his brothers, Jacob Reed and Michael Williams; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Constance Robinson; and his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Pilkington; his father, David Pilkington; and his sister, Tonya Turnick.

Dave will be remembered for his strength, his warmth, and the love he shared with everyone around him. He faced his illness with bravery and resilience, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 pm on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Waite Funeral Homes – Brunswick Chapel, located at 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio.  A graveside service will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Hope Memorial Gardens, 2447 Center Road, Hinckley, Ohio 44233.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dave's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
