David Alan Taylor, 71, of Seville, passed away on April 5, 2025, surrounded by his family after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on January 26, 1954, in Berea, Ohio, to the late Harrison and Jean Taylor.

David enjoyed playing golf with his brother and buddies. He also enjoyed working outdoors and working out, with a special interest in martial arts. David proudly worked as a floor installer for nearly 50 years, where he perfected everything he did. He was a loyal friend, if you were his friend, he was very protective of you. David will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Dave is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Dawn; cherished brother Mark (Sandy) Taylor and honorary sister Debbie Malik; nieces Jaclyn (Jimmy) Gnew, Whitney Taylor, Corriane (Aaron) Bigger; nephews Steven (Alyssa) Taylor, Austin (Stephanie) Buit, and Justin (Yvonne) Erickson. Dave loved his many furbabies.

Dave is preceded in death by his brother Jeff Taylor.

The family wished to share their appreciation with Hospice of the Western Reserve and Medina Cleveland Clinic for the care they provided Dave.
