Diana Lynn Wraight

Diana Lynn Wraight, age 76, went home to be with Jesus on May 17, 2026, in Medina, Ohio while surrounded by her loving husband of 55 years and three daughters.

Diana was born on November 6, 1949, in Whittier, California, a daughter of the late Donald Adair Williams and Phyllis Mae Williams. She was raised in Indiana where she met and fell in love with her high school sweetheart, whom she married on August 21, 1970.

Diana received her degree in English Education from Purdue University as a distinguished graduate. A skilled writer and editor, Diana had many creative pursuits and career achievements. Her fondest roles included co-founding the creative firm Image Concepts, supporting her husband’s business R.F. Wraight & Associates, and serving as a State Legislative Assistant at the North Carolina General Assembly.

Diana found purpose and joy in life through her faith. She was a devoted and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and follower of Jesus. Diana cherished her family and special friendships and shared her endearing laugh with those that loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Richard Wraight; daughters, Jessica (Michael) Carey, Sara (John Paul) Wolforth, and Brittany (Michael) Chase; and grandchildren, Grady, Sullivan, and Beatrice Carey, Teddy and Andy Wolforth, and Palmer, Hayes, and Cassidy Chase. Diana is also survived by her sister, Donna (Danny) Lee and numerous extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 22 at 10 am, immediately followed by a memorial service and celebration of her life at 11 am at Parkside Church at 7100 Pettibone Road in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. A reception will follow the service at the church. A private family burial will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina, Ohio.
