Diane M. Behner, 79, of Brunswick, passed away October 24, 2025.

She was born in Steubenville on February 5, 1946 to George and Daisy (Cooke)
Marmol.

Diane is survived by her husband, Ray; her children, Michele (Ron) Foster and Melissa (Lee) Swain; grandchildren, Kelsey, Samantha, Katie and Nick; great-grandchildren, Caden, Khloe, Layla and Nolan; a brother, Dean Shirley; and her cousin (sisters at heart), Cheryl Deitrich.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her biological father, Dean Shirley, Sr.

Diane was a bus aide for the Medina Co. Board of Developmental Disabilities for 15 years. She enjoyed hummingbirds, shopping, cooking, and road trips with Ray. Her greatest devotion was to her family.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, followed by funeral services at 12 noon. A reception will follow in the Family Center at the funeral home.
