Donald G. Beavers, 88, of Medina, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Don was born on May 4, 1937, in Logan, WV, the son of the late Martin and Beunia (Neace) Beavers.

Don was a United States Air Force veteran. He worked on jet engines as a mechanic. He also worked at the Tank Plant in Brook Park, where the IX Center is. He retired from River Terminal, as an engineer in 1999 after 28 years of service. Don was a member of the Air Force Museum in Dayton, OH. He enjoyed listening to country music, playing guitar, traveling, as well as working in his yard.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kay M. (Patterson) Beavers, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage; son, Alex (Anita) Beavers; grandson, Ryan Beavers; brother, John Beavers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert, Eunice, Millard, Hoyt, Florence, and an infant sister.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 11 am – 12 pm at Waite Funeral Home: 765 North Court Street, Medina, OH 44256. A Celebration of Don's life will follow at 12 pm. Inurnment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
