Donna Jean Christian, age 93, passed away peacefully at home on March 24, 2025, with her loving family at her side. Donna was born on September 5, 1931, in Logan County, West Virginia to the late Roy and Olena (Shelton) Keaton.

Donna had a compassionate and giving nature. She fulfilled her call to help others with her long career as a Registered Nurse. She retired from Medina Hospital after a 25-year career.

She enjoyed travel, especially cruises. Donna was an avid reader (romance novels were her favorite). She had many varied interests, which included bird watching, tending her expansive vegetable garden, and crocheting.

Donna is survived by her three loving daughters, Cathy (Bill) Mallery, Kimberly Staten, and Linda (Michael) Robertson; her five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her sister, Pamela (Larry) Tooley; son-in-law, Mark Buker; and a lifetime of dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Carl R. Christian; her daughter, Dickie Buker; her son-in-law, Al Staten; and six siblings.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, OH 44256. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 noon and she will be laid to rest with her husband, Carl at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, after the service.
