Donna Gibbons, age 70, of Litchfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 1, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio, Donna was the cherished daughter of Domenic and Mervine (Smith) Fabris. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, partner, aunt, and friend who was always willing to help others.

A devoted educator, Donna dedicated many years of her life to teaching at the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center, where she left a lasting impact on countless students. Beyond her professional life, Donna found joy and creativity in quilting, gardening, and traveling, hobbies that brought beauty and warmth to those around her. She especially loved being involved with her grandsons, creating joyful memories through their shared activities and milestones. She cherished sharing time with her family and upholding traditions passed down by her parents, which created lasting bonds and treasured memories.

Donna is survived by her beloved partner of 30 years, Frank Baluch, Jr.; her daughter, Shannon Yeager (Walter O'Malley); her treasured grandchildren, Matthew Yeager and Owen Yeager; and her stepdaughter, Amanda Baluch. She also leaves behind her siblings, Andrew Fabris (Carol Fields), Tom Fabris (Nancy), and Teri Ondrejcak (Jim), along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a lifetime of dear friends who enriched her journey.

Donna's kindness, dedication, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the memories she created.

Family will receive friends on Monday, January 6, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, OH 44256. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 7, 2024, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (in the original brick Chapel), 1800 Station Road, Valley City, OH 44280. She will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Valley City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Donna's honor may be made to a children's charity of your choice.
