It is with great sadness, but also a celebration of her life, that we announce the passing of Doris Ann Stout. Doris was born on September 27, 1953 in Michigan and passed away on June 14th, 2026 at Fairview Hospital.
She was a God-fearing, loving woman. She loved her Lord so much. She preached and taught of the Lord’s word and praised Him with so much love. She worked at church functions every chance she could. She loved her church family and her own family with passion.
Doris loved to be outside, loved her flowers and canning, and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cleaned houses for many years and worked at the Medina County Achievement Center driving bus and working with special need adults. She went back to school for medical assisting. She worked at Wadsworth Family Practice for many years then went to Akron General Vascular to be an authorization specialist.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Shelia and Chuck Reynolds; her three daughters Michele Turner, Sandy (Bob) Stanton, Kim (Sean) Hreha, her six grandchildren Daniel (Loni) Gregory, Marissa Turner, Alexis (Andrew) LeFever, Max (Hannah) Hreha, James (Kendall) Turner, Billy (Asha) Hreha; great-grandchildren Parker, Gunner, Kinlee, Camdan, James Jr and Holden; niece Carrie Patrick, nephew Chris (Mary) Reynolds; great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts, sister-in-laws and brother-in-law Les Stout.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dannie Stout, parents, James Hutchens, Wilma and Blake Friedt, grandson Jacob Gregory, brother Bobby Hutchens and brother-in-laws Bill and Johnny Stout, sister-in-law Pat Stout, in-laws Floyd and Lenore Stout.
Doris loved everyone and was kind to all. A void has been left and we will miss her so much.
