Dorothy Faye Devine, age 94, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, in Medina, Ohio surrounded by the love of her family. Dorothy was born on April 22, 1930, in Titusville, Pennsylvania to the late Victor E. and Elsie L. (Knauer) Walenta.

Dorothy worked as a registered nurse for over 25 years at Freehold Hospital before retiring. She was an avid doll collector for many years, she enjoyed traveling to any beach and dearly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  A devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Penny (Richard) Rhoads and Cindy (Scott) Sindahl; her grandchildren, Christopher (Kim) Sindahl, Michael (Briana) Sindahl; Rebecca (Jacob) Crislip, Matthew (Jessica) Rhoads, and Andrew Rhoads; her great grandchildren, Hunter Sindahl, Piper Sindahl, Myra Sindahl, Isabelle Sindahl, Noah Sindahl, Jackson Rhoads, and Aaron Rhoads; along with her sister, Peggy Kuttler and many dear friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, OH 44256. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m.; Dr Rev. Luke Lindon, officiating.
