Dorothy Jane Morris

Dorothy Jane Morris, age 95, passed away on May 16, 2026. She was born on May 24, 1930, to the late Nicholas and Dorothy Huber. Dorothy is survived by her beloved children Marilyn (Ron, deceased) Whipkey, Denise (Steve) Fisher, and Dave Morris; cherished grandchildren Keith Fisher, Craig Fisher, Amy (Ryan) Squier; treasured great-grandchildren Charlie, Aaron, Lucas, and Olivia Squier; many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her dear baby Michael and baby Susan; siblings James (Irene, deceased) Huber, Thomas Huber, Adele (Don, deceased) Borling, Virginia (Al, deceased) Beriswill, Jerome (Mary) Huber.

Dorothy graduated from York High School in 1948 as Salutatorian. She went on to proudly work in bookkeeping, most recently as a title clerk with GMC in the truck and coach division. In her free time, she greatly enjoyed singing, sewing and belonged to the woman’s guild at St. Ambrose before she became a parishioner at St. Martin of Tours. Most importantly, she cherished her time with her family, and she will be dearly missed by all.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 9-11 am at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in the gathering area, with a mass of Christian burial to follow in the chapel at 11am. Burial at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery.
