Douglas Raymond Kerr, 61, of Medina, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025. Doug was born on April 28, 1964, in New York, NY, the son of Henry and Suzanne (Platz) Kerr.

Doug lived most of his life here in the Medina area. He graduated from Bowling Green University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He worked for Marc Glassman Inc., where he held many positions throughout the last 37 years. Doug was generous and giving man, and had a magnetic personality, and knew how to draw people in anywhere he went. He was great at storytelling and generally a very funny person. He had a love for nature and traveling, especially National Parks with his family. Doug was a lover of music and arts as well. He attended Heartland Community Church and Disciples Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Suzanne Kerr; and his aunt, Carol Buecherl.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maureen (Hale) Kerr, with whom he shared 19 years of marriage; his children, Aidan, Evan, and Gavin Kerr; father, Henry (Tammy) Kerr; siblings, Kathi (Mike Pruitt) Moran, Kim (Allen) Banks, and Michael (Lauren) Kerr; and nieces and nephews, Lizzie Moran, Wyatt Wolf, Bryce Wolf, Havana and Gabriella Rommers; brothers and sisters-in-law, Patrick Hale, Melissa Wolf, and Aurelia (Jay) Rommers.
