Edith Morton died peacefully at Cypress Meadows Care Facility on July 18, 2017 in
Antioch, California, at the age of 100. She was born in Parma, Ohio on February 27, 1917
to Fred and Esther Gerspacher and lived in Ohio until moving to Arizona in 1968.

After the death of her husband of 62 years, Norman, she moved to California in 2004 to be closer to her daughter. Edith made many trips to Ohio to visit family and friends. She enjoyed crafts, puzzles, music, square dancing and bingo. Edith worked at Ziegler's Department Store, on the Medina Square, in the fabric department when she lived in this area.

Edith is survived by her daughters Nadine Schirmer (Bill) from Jacksonville, Florida,
and Nancy McLaughlin (Bill) from Oakley, California; five grandchildren-
Beth, Mark, Becky, Tricia and A.J.; and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman in 2002.

There will be a Celebration of Edith's Life at 12 Noon on Sept. 9th , 2017 at Diamond Event Center, 1480 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212 followed by a dinner at 1:00 pm. Edith was laid to rest with her husband in Chandler, Arizona.
