Edward Patrick "Buddah" Morey, age 46, passed away August 31, 2023. He was born February 20, 1977, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Buddah was a hardworking, dedicated man. He went into carpentry and started out building homes while employed by a builder. After that he worked in a commercial cabinet shop. Over time, he learned other skills like doing tile, drywall, electrical and plumbing. After obtaining these skills, he started a successful home remodeling business with which to support his family.

He tried to make a difference by taking an active part in his community.

He loved nature and being outdoors. He enjoyed camping, fishing, riding his four wheeler and most recently target shooting. Above all else, he treasured time spent with his family. He was a loving husband and father. His family always came first.

He will be remembered for his strong will and generous heart. He always helped others that were in need even to his own detriment. To sum up his life: He was an honest, generous and decent man.

His memory will be cherished by his devoted wife, Amber (nee Adkins) Morey; adored daughter, Jada Irene Morey; mother, Debra (Frank) Hein; father, Edward Dale Morey (deceased); sister, Amy (Alex) Ortiz; step-sister, Sheryl Richner (Grant); mother and father-Law, Pamela and Delbert Adkins; Brother-in-law, Michael Adkins (Virginia); Brother-in-law Dale Adkins (Katherine); Brother-in-law, Dana Adkins; and 9 nieces and nephews.

The family will welcome guests from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1800 Station Road, Valley City, Ohio, followed by interment at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery.
